The operator series AK47 ambidextrous thumb safety has given the ak47 the ergonomics of the AR15 making it a much more user
friendly platform. Our AMBI left side safety is an alternative to the Galil safety but is much easier to install than a Galil
safety.
These are produced and available in standard black finish. Please contact us if you require a different color finish and or
different type blue or parkerized finish.
The operator series AMBI safety is made of pre heat treated 4130 steel and can be easily installed with a 3/8 drill and a file.
This is not a drop in part due to the numerous variants and manufacturers of the AK-47. The pivot assembly has been made
slightly tight and fitting will be required. Gunsmith installation is recommended however installation can be accomplished
by the average person using a drill and a file. We have made our left side AK 47 safety to be hand fitted so you will get a
nice safety without excess play.
This safety is designed for the most common 1mm thick receivers with standard trunnions. The safety can be altered to work with
some other trunnions such as AMD-65 and similar. It will not work with underfolders and receivers with side scope mounts.
We are currently working on a safety for 1.5/1.6 mm receivers.

NOTE: INSTALLING THIS PART REQUIRES ALTERING YOUR RECEIVER BY DRILLING THE ORIGINAL SAFETY PIVOT HOLE LARGER. THIS
WILL BE A PERMANENT MODIFICATION. BE SURE YOU ARE AWARE OF THIS BEFORE INSTALLING.

gunsmith perform this for you.
